EDWARDSVILLE – A man alleges he was injured in a collision in Edwardsville with a floral delivery vehicle.
Kevin Hendricks and Jennifer Hendricks filed a complaint on July 27 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Patricia M. Rose and unknown floral delivery company alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 30, 2016, Kevin Hendricks was operating his motor vehicle in a southerly direction on Plum Street when he was struck in the rear by Rose while in the course of her employment with an unknown floral delivery company.
As a result, Kevin Hendricks claims he suffered physical injuries and incurred medical expenses. His wife Jennifer Hendricks claims she lost the companionship of her husband.
The plaintiffs allege Rose failed to keep her vehicle under proper control, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to brake for a vehicle that was stopped in front of her.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment in an amount in excess of $50,000, and for costs of suit, and other relief as may be appropriate under the circumstances.
They are represented by Jane Unsell of Unsell, Schattnick & Phillips PC in Wood River.
