Local lawyers contributed $21,000 to the judicial campaign of St. Clair County Chief Judge John Baricevic from Sept. 22 through Oct. 7.
Lawyers provided three fourths of the $28,000 he raised.
Becker Hoerner, a Belleville firm that regularly represents the county in civil litigation, gave Baricevic $5,000.
Gori Julian, which litigates asbestos suits in the circuit court, gave him $4,000.
The firm of Armbruster Dripps gave him $1,000, as did the firm of Gori Julian and the firm of Weilmuenster and Keck.
Tom Keefe III and the firm of Keefe, Keefe, and Unsell each gave him $1,000.
Unsell, Schattnik and Phillips gave him $1,000, and Unsell, Schuman and Freeman gave him $1,000.
The firm of Grey Chatham and Charles Baricevic, son of the chief judge, gave him $1,000.
Ted Gianaris, of Simmons Hanly Conroy, gave him $1,000.
Mathis, Marifian and Richter gave him $1,000.
Law partners Jerald Bonifield and Jon Rosenstengel each gave him $1,000.
Clyde Kuehn gave him $1,000.
Baricevic also received $1,000 each from county board chairman Mark Kern, associate judge Christopher Kolker, the Casino Queen, James and Sandra McEvilly, and Mississippi Avenue Inc., of Sauget.
Costello for Congress transferred $2,000 to Baricevic.
