Woman alleges injuries after accident

Car accident 23

EDWARDSVILLE – A Madison County resident has filed a suit against a driver alleging injures in an Edwardsville accident.

Nicole M. Allaria filed a complaint on July 5 in the Madison County Circuit Court against George I. Thomas alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 28, 2013, while operating her motor vehicle on Governors Parkway at the intersection of Troy Road in Edwardsville, the defendant was operating his motor vehicle at the same place and time when he disregarded the stop light and collided with her vehicle, causing her to sustain injuries to her body.

She alleges said injuries caused her to suffer great pain and suffering, disability and impairment, loss of wages and benefits from her employment and medical expenses. The plaintiff holds Thomas responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to obey a traffic stop sign, failed to yield right of way, failed to keep proper lookout, failed to sound audible warnings and drove his vehicle in a reckless manner.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for an amount of more than $50,000 and costs for this action. She is represented by Brian M. Wendler and Angie Zinzilieta of Wendler Law PC in Edwardsville.
