Woman sues driver following Collinsville collision

Car accident 24

EDWARDSVILLE – A driver is suing over injuries she allegedly received in a Collinsville automobile crash.

Tiara Kizeart filed the suit April 29 in Madison County Circuit Court against Ronald M. Hall.

On Sept. 25, 2015, Kizeart was operating her vehicle on Collinsville's Belt Line Road in an eastbound direction. At the same time and place, Hall was driving his vehicle behind the plaintiff's, the suit states.

According to the complaint, Hall failed to reduce his speed and collided with the rear of Kizeart's vehicle, causing her injuries.

The plaintiff claims the defendant was negligent by failing to keep a proper lookout, failing to pay attention to the traffic ahead of him and failing to keep his vehicle under proper control.

Kizeart's alleged injuries include those to her neck, back, elbow, head and other extremities. She claims she has been hindered from attending to her regular duties and has accumulated medical bills, the suit states.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in excess of $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Adam W. Bragee of Beatty & Motil in Glen Carbon.
