First Bank alleges defendants owe nearly $300K on seven promissory notes

BELLEVILLE – First Bank is suing over alleged unpaid principal amounts on seven promissory notes.

First Bank filed the suit April 7 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against John R. Francis and Nancy S. Francis.

From Jan. 25 to Oct. 18, 2006, First Bank allegedly issued seven loans to the defendants ranging from $12,729 to $61,026. According to the complaint, the defendants have defaulted on every one of the notes. First Bank has demanded payment.

First Bank seeks a total of $294,987, plus pre-judgment interest, court costs and other relief the court deems proper. It is represented by Teri L. Havron of Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli PC in Edwardsville.
