A customer is suing Cricket Wireless, alleging negligence over injuries she says she suffered when a store door fell on top of her.
Brittany Bradshaw filed a lawsuit Dec. 10 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Cricket Wireless LLC, alleging carelessness and negligence.
According to the complaint, on April 15, Bradshaw was conducting business at the Cricket Wireless location on Camp Jackson Road in Cahokia. As she was walking through the front door, the suit says, the door fell on her.
The lawsuit states the plaintiff sustained injuries to her back and neck, which are permanent and progressive in nature. She alleges she will have to pay medical bills now and in the future, and also has lost the ability to enjoy life.
Bradshaw seeks more than $50,000, plus court costs and attorney fees. She is represented by attorney Thomas G. Kemper of Butler & Kemper in Granite City.
