St. Louis business seeks real estate payment from Gibbol's Novelties

A St. Louis company is suing a novelty shop, alleging an unpaid judgment.

Reinert Collins Allee filed the lawsuit on Dec. 10 in Madison County Circuit Court against Lois M. Lobbing individually and doing business as Gibbol's Novelties and Costumes.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 5, the plaintiff obtained a judgment in the Missouri Circuit Court for the 22nd Judicial Circuit, against the defendants in the amount of $71,000. Except for $500, the defendants have failed to make any payments, the suit says.

The plaintiff seeks $70,500 in the form of a judgment lien on any real estate belonging to either of the defendants in Madison County. 

The plaintiff is represented by attorney Aaron G. Weishaar of Reinert Weishaar & Associates of St. Louis.
