Case management scheduled in personal injury suit against Airline Mobile Home Village

Madison County Circuit Judge Andreas Matoesian has scheduled a case management conference for Jan. 29, 2014, for 9 a.m. in a man’s lawsuit against an East Alton mobile home company alleging he fell through a subfloor.

According to plaintiff Jeremy Gallup’s complaint filed on July 29, Gallup visited a tenant on Jan. 31 in the Airline Mobile Home Village, Inc, on Evelyn Lane in East Alton, where the alleged incident occurred.

He claims he was walking across the bedroom floor when the subfloor beneath the carpet “suddenly and without warning, collapsed and gave way” causing him to trip and fall, injuring his left knee.

Gallup filed a first request for production and interrogatories against the defendant on Oct. 29.

Gallup seeks a judgment of more than $50,000.

Andrea D. McNairy of St. Louis represents Gallup.

Stephen C. Mudge of Reed, Armstrong, Mudge & Morrissey, P.C. represents Airline Mobile Home Village, Inc.
