A St. Clair County man claims he suffered permanent injuries to his neck, back and knees after a driver rear-ended his vehicle.
Bradley Wilson filed a lawsuit Oct. 15 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Alan Goss.
In his complaint, Wilson alleges he drove a 2006 Dodge Ram pickup south on Illinois Route 163 on Nov. 10, 2011, at about 10 a.m. when Goss, who drove a 2001 Ford Expedition in the same direction, struck the back of his vehicle. Following the collision, Goss fled the scene, according to the complaint.
Because of the collision, Wilson experienced pain and suffering, incurred medical costs and lost wages, the suit states.
Wilson blames Goss for causing the accident, saying he negligently drove too fast, failed to keep a careful lookout, followed Wilson’s vehicle too closely, collided with the back of Wilson’s vehicle and fled the scene.
In his complaint, Wilson is seeking a judgment of more than $100,000, plus other relief the court deems just.
Ryan L. Bruning of Page Bradley in St. Louis will be representing him.
