A woman claims a car wreck is to blame for her personal injuries and loss of wages.
Pamela Morgan filed a lawsuit against Nancy Symns on Aug. 13 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Morgan was driving her Ford Windstar and Symns was driving her BMW 325 southbound on South Greenmount Road in Belleville on Sept. 28, 2011, when Symns allegedly rear-ended Morgan.
Morgan claims Symns failed to maintain the proper speed limit, failed to keep control of her vehicle and failed to slow down or stop to avoid an accident.
Due to the collision, Morgan claims she suffered personal injuries, mental and physical anguish and will continue to suffer in the future.
In her complaint, Morgan seeks a judgment of $50,000, plus costs and other relief the court deems just.
Mark Scoggins of Crowder & Scoggins, LTD in Columbia will be representing her.
