A woman seeks $50,000 from a driver she says ran a stop sign in Mascoutah and crashed into her.
Victoria J. Pflasterer filed a lawsuit May 6 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Frances A. Lautenschlaeger.
According to the complaint, Pflasterer was driving north on Illinois Route 4 in April 2012. At the intersection of Main Street, Pflasterer claims Lautenschlaeger, driving west on Main Street, entered the intersection without stopping and crashed into her.
Pflasterer accuses Lautenschlaeger of negligence and asks for a judgment of more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills and court costs.
