A Fairview Heights man is accused of causing a crash in Madison that injured his passenger.
Sandra C. Wiegand filed a lawsuit April 19 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against James A. Clark and Nicholas Allen Weske.
According to the complaint, Wiegand was a passenger in a Chrysler Town & Country being driven by Clark in April 2011. Wiegand says they were making a left turn out of an alley and onto Illinois Route 203 when Clark pulled out in front of a Dodge Dakota being driven by Weske. The road was allegedly wet at the time and when Weske tried to stop, Wiegand claims he lost control of his truck and crashed into them.
Wiegand is suing Clark and Weske for negligence and asks for more than $100,000 in damages for medical expenses and court costs.
