A Madison County man says he was attacked at a house in Granite City after being invited in for a "get together."
Kenneth Tindall filed a lawsuit March 28 in Madison Count Circuit Court against Terri and Franklin Hollenbeck. Thomas A. and E.J. Gipperich are also named as defendants.
Tindall says he went to a house on Dewey Avenue in April 2011 to visit with the Hollenbecks. He says he was invited inside by Terri in what she allegedly called a "family get together." According to the complaint, Tindall walked into the house and was attacked. He claims he was hit in the head and then shoved out the door by Franklin Hollenbeck.
Tindall accuses the Hollenbecks of negligence. He is also suing the Gipperiches, the owners of the Granite City house, for failing to maintain a safe residence.
Tindall asks for more than $150,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost wages and court costs.
He is represented by attorney Morgan Scroggins of Granite City.
