A St. Clair County man is accused of causing a crash while trying to turn in front of another car.
Deraz Burton filed a lawsuit against Witthaus Everet on Feb. 15 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Burton says he was driving on Illinois Highway 13/158, also known as South Belt West, in February 2011 when Everet allegedly tried to turn onto the road and crashed into him.
Burton is suing Everet for negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost wages and court fees.
