A woman has filed suit against the driver who she claims rear-ended her vehicle.
Nicole Nasello claims she was stopped in traffic traveling east on Tolle Lane in Godfrey on April 11, 2011, when defendant Jennifer Foraker, who was driving in the same direction, struck the back of Nasello’s vehicle.
Because of the collision, Nasello suffered neck, back and left shoulder injuries; experienced pain and suffering; lost wages because of her inability to work; and incurred medical costs, according to the complaint filed March 22 in Madison County Circuit Court. In addition, she was prevented from attending to her normal duties, the suit states.
Foraker negligently failed to keep her eyes on the road, drove too fast, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to exercise proper control of her vehicle, the complaint says.
In her complaint, Nasello is seeking a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs.
Allan L. Napp of Schrempf, Kelly, Napp and Darr in Alton will be representing her.
