Andrew Carruthers has joined HeplerBroom LLC in the Edwardsville office as an attorney with an emphasis in estate planning, real estate, general business, civil litigation and local government law.
Carruthers received his Juris Doctorate in May 2006 from the Southern Illinois University School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield in 2002. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Missouri, and Florida. In addition to membership in the bar associations of those three states, Carruthers is a member of the Madison County Bar Association and the Alton Wood-River Bar Association. He is also licensed to practice in federal court in the Eastern District of Missouri, Southern District of Illinois, Central District of Illinois, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Carruthers is a native of Godfrey and a 1998 graduate of Alton High School. He comes to HeplerBroom LLC from the Alton firm of Stobbs, Sinclair and Carruthers, Ltd. where he had practiced since 2008.
Carruthers also serves as an elected park district commissioner for the Collinsville Area Recreation District and is currently its Board President. Carruthers is also the Chairman of the Madison County Republican Central Committee.
