The Tri-City Regional Port District has filed suit against a company that it claims failed to pay it more than $180,000 in rental costs.
Tri-City Regional Port District claims it entered into a lease agreement with defendant Cloud 10 Global, formerly known as Advanced Records Management, on Sept. 11, 2006. In the agreement, Cloud 10 agreed to pay Tri-City a monthly rental fee in exchange for the occupancy of property at 125 North Ruby Lane in Fairview Heights, according to the complaint filed Jan. 30 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
However, Cloud 10 breached the agreement by failing to pay the agreed-upon monthly rent, the suit states.
“After allowing all just credits, deductions and setoffs, there remains due and owing from the defendant, the sum of $180,787.89,” the complaint says.
In addition to the money it claims it is owed, Tri-City is seeking costs.
It will be represented by Marc S. Lichtman and Kara R. Eisen of Marc S. Lichtman and Associates in Chicago.
St. Clair County Circuit Court case number: 13-L-54.
