A man claims his employer has denied him the opportunity to become a 15 percent shareholder in a company, despite his performance of all requirements placed upon him to become a partner.
Tyler Ingham filed a lawsuit Jan. 14 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Torre Tribout.
In his complaint, Ingham claims Torre Tribout offered him an opportunity to become a 15 percent shareholder in a company called Sniperdyne in 2011. In order to become the shareholder, however, Ingham had to remain a Torre employee, according to the complaint.
Although Ingham performed all expectations required of him, Torre refused to acknowledge its agreement with him, the suit states.
“Because of defendant’s failure and refusal to perform the agreement, plaintiff has sustained great damage in that he has lost valuable profits and dividends that he would otherwise have in an amount greater than $50,000,” the complaint says.
Crowder and Scoggins in Columbia will be representing him.
