A Belleville woman is suing the driver of the car that allegedly ran a red light and crashed into her on an O'Fallon highway.
Stacy M. Martin filed a lawsuit against Michael P. Henry Sept. 19 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Martin says she was driving east on East Highway 50 in October 2009 and was trying to turn left onto Scott Troy Road. She alleges Henry, driving west on East Highway 50, failed to stop at a red light and crashed into her.
Martin accuses Henry of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills and court fees.
Attorney Patrick R. Foley, of Belleville, is representing Martin.
