Interlock Industries sued over I-64 accident

A St. Clair County woman wants more than $50,000 after she was allegedly rear-ended in East St. Louis by a man driving his work vehicle.

Ebony M. Moore filed a lawsuit Sept. 6 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Ryon Frederick McBride and Interlock Industries (Midwest) Inc.

According to the complaint, Moore was driving west in the right lane on Interstate 64 in February. As she neared milepost 4, Moore says she was hit from behind by McBride driving an Interlock Industries car. Moore says she was injured in the crash.

Moore accuses McBride and Interlock Industries of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages as compensation for medical expenses and court fees. She is represented by attorney Tarun Rana, of St. Louis.
