Napp receives computer forensics training

Madison County Associate Circuit Judge Kyle Napp recently attended the National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI) in Birmingham, Ala.

The NCFI is comprised of a partnership between the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Secret Service and the Alabama District Attorney's Office.

Judges from across the country are selected to attend this intensive training on computer forensics and digital evidence in the courtroom.

The course is designed to enhance the knowledge and assist judges in the ever-evolving and increasing number of electronic crime cases affecting communities nationwide.
