A Madison County man is suing the owners of an Edwardsville grocery store after he allegedly slipped on spilled milk in an aisle.
Adam Moseley filed the lawsuit June 16 in Madison County Circuit Court against Shop 'n Save and SuperValu Inc.
Moseley says he was shopping in the Troy Road Shop 'n Save in June 2009 when he slipped on a liquid that seemed to be coming from a milk cooler. Moseley claims he hurt his right knee in the fall.
Moseley accuses the store and its owner of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical expenses and court costs.
