A suit over a malfunctioning cruise control is set for case management Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Plaintiff Brian Williams is suing Ford Motor Co., alleging the cruise control in his 2004 Ford F-150 malfunctioned and caused him to hit a tree.
The suit seeks damages in excess of $50,00.
In the suit, Williams alleges that the cruise control stuck and his vehicle accelerated dangerously.
He claims he was injured in the resulting accident.
The case had been assigned to then-Madison County Circuit Judge
Nicholas Byron.
The case is currently assigned to Madison County Circuit Judge Andy Matoesian.
Williams is represented by Lon Weaver.
The case is Madison case number 07-L-111.
