A man's car accident suit is set for trial Monday at 9 a.m.
Plaintiff Rudolph Muzzarelli is suing Matthew Evans for injuries he allegedly suffered when Evans' car hit Muzzarelli's in April 2006.
The plaintiff seeks $50,000 in damages and his medical bills.
Evans allegedly struck Muzzarelli's car as he waited to make a left turn from Madison Street in Granite City onto 26th Street.
According to the complaint, Muzzarelli suffered head, back and neck injuries.
Madison County Chief Judge Ann Callis will preside.
Callis took over the case from Madison County Circuit Judge Daniel Stack in December of last year.
Stack plans to retire later this year.
Muzzarelli is represented by Rich Verticchio.
Evans is represented by Thomas Zimmer.
The case is Madison case number 08-L-151.
