Citizens gathered in the plaza of the Madison County Government Center Thursday in honor of National Prayer Day. The day was established by President Harry S. Truman.
Those gathered prayed the "Lord's Prayer" and said the Pledge of Allegiance. They also offered prayers for the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces.
