LeChien
St. Clair County Circuit Judge Robert LeChien said on Monday that he will run for retention in 2010.
LeChien was first elected to the Circuit Court in 1998. He was last elected to the Circuit bench in 2004.
LeChien was appointed associate judge in St. Clair County in 1987.
Prior to becoming a judge, LeChien worked as a prosecutor in St. Clair County and with the LeChien and Associates firm in Belleville, along with his brother.
In 1985, he founded the Consumer Law Center.
LeChien has run as a Democrat in past elections.
Circuit judges are elected to six-year terms.
