A corporation says a Swansea company owes it more than $65,000 for products and services it supplied.
Fred Weber says it entered into a contract with C. Grantham Company on April 21, 1994, in which it agreed to provide products, services and credit to the company. In return, C. Grantham was supposed to pay Fred Weber.
"Under the terms of the contract, Plaintiff provided said products and services and Defendant, C. Grantham Company, was required to pay to Plaintiff $68,734.77 for said products and services," the suit filed May 29 in St. Clair County Circuit Court states.
However, C. Grantham never paid Fred Weber the money, according to the complaint.
Also on April 21, 1994, Cathi Grantham executed a personal guaranty, promising the payment of all charges due to Fred Weber.
Even though Fred Weber has demanded payment, C. Grantham and Cathi Grantham have refused to reimburse it, the complaint says.
In the three-count lawsuit, Fred Weber is seeking a judgment of $206,204.31, plus interest at nine percent per annum, attorney's fees, costs and other relief the court deems just.
Vincent D. Vogler and Jonathan E. Brent of The Vogler Law Firm in St. Louis will be representing it.
St. Clair County District Court case number: 09-L-282.
