A Granite City woman is suing the owner of a bingo hall, alleging she tripped on parking blocks as she was exiting the building.
Juanita Osborn filed a lawsuit May 20 in Madison County Circuit Court against Tri-Mor Properties.
Osborn says she was attending a bingo game on Dec. 25 at the hall Tri-Mor Properties maintains.
After leaving the game, Osborn tripped on a parking block that she says she would have seen had it been visible and had Tri-Mor Properties properly lit the parking lot.
As a result of her fall, Osborn suffered severe and permanent injuries, according to the complaint.
She is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus costs.
Ronald A. Roth of Roth Evans in Granite City will be representing her.
Madison County Circuit Court case number: 09-L-517.
