An accident that occurred May 31, 2008 on West Highway 50 in O'Fallon is subject of a suit filed May 13 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Barbara Bright is suing Brittney Schultz over injuries sustained in the accident.
Bright claims Schultz failed to keep a proper lookout, followed her vehicle too closely, failed to reduce speed to avoid an accident and negligently operated a vehicle at a speed which was excessive for road conditions.
She claims her injuries have caused pain and suffering, disability and disfigurement, medical expenses, loss of income, loss of a normal life, property damage, loss of the use of her vehicle and increased risk for future injury.
Bright is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages. She is represented by Daniel Juncker of Belleville.
