Fast Eddie's and Regal Beagle sued over man's injuries during brawl

A man wants the court to reward him more than $200,000 after he says he received a broken nose and damages to his left knee and right ankle during a brawl at a Madison County business.

Randy D. Hosford filed a lawsuit May 1 in Madison County Circuit Court against Fast Eddie's Bon-Air and Regal Beagle.

Hosford says he was a patron at the 1530 East Fourth St. business in Alton on May 2, 2008, when Dustin Feezel and Dustin E. Hemker attacked him, hitting him in the face and kicking him in the left knee and shoulder and right ankle area.

The assault occurred because Feezel and Hemker were intoxicated on alcoholic beverages Fast Eddie's and Regal Beagle served them, the complaint says.

In addition to his injuries, Hosford sustained disability, physical pain, suffering and emotional pain, incurred medical expenses and lost wages, according to the complaint.

In the two-count suit, Holsford is seeking $200,000, plus costs.

Bradford E. Hunt of Bradford E. Hunt Law Offices in Alton will be representing him.

Madison County Circuit Court case number: 09-L-450.
