A Madison County woman claims she sustained left hip, bilateral shoulder, neck and back injuries after a Madison County man collided with her.

Michelle Zuckerman was driving east on Erwin Plegge Boulevard on Oct. 5, 2007, when Timothy M. Barton, who was driving in the same direction, collided with the rear of her vehicle, according to the complaint filed Feb. 19 in Madison County Circuit Court.

In addition to her injuries, Zuckerman suffered physical pain and incurred medical expenses, the suit states.

Barton was negligent by driving too fast for the circumstances, by failing to exercise ordinary care to keep a lookout ahead and by failing to sound any signal or warning of the approach of his vehicle, Zuckerman claims.

Zuckerman is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus costs and expenses.
