Charlotte Green and Kenny Kronenberger have filed suit against Kimberly Weiss, alleging they were injured after she collided with them.
Green was driving a 2004 Cadilac Deville north on North Combs Street at its intersection with Wood Alley on Feb. 16, 2007, at about 3:47 p.m. when the collision occurred, according to the complaint filed Feb. 11 in Madison County Circuit Court.
Kronenberger was a passenger in the car Green was driving, the suit states.
Weiss was driving a 2001 Hyundai Sonata east on Wood Alley when she "came into violent contact" with the Deville Green was driving, the suit states.
Because of the accident, Green and Kronenberger claim they sustained permanent injuries, partial disability, pain and medical expenses.
Weiss was negligent by failing to keep her automobile under proper control, by failing to see Weiss' automobile, by failing to stop in time to avoid a collision and by failing to yield the right-of-way to Weiss, according to the complaint.
In the two-count suit, Green and Kronenberger are seeking a judgment in excess of $100,000, plus costs.
Jack A. Strellis of Strellis and Field in Waterloo will be representing them.
