A woman claims she was injured in an automobile accident after another woman collided with her.
Bridget Y. Wolfe was driving west on Church Street near its intersection with Lebanon Street in Belleville on Dec. 26 when Jeanette A. Zinck, who was driving south on Lebanon Street near the same intersection, collided with her, according to the complaint filed Jan. 26 in St. Clair County Circuit Court.
Because of the accident, Wolfe suffered pain and permanent disability, incurred medical expenses and lost income, the suit states.
Zinck was negligent because she failed to yield the right-of-way to Wolfe, failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Lebanon Street and Church Street, failed to keep a proper lookout ahead and failed to stop, slow down or swerve to avoid a collision, Wolfe alleges.
Wolfe is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus costs.
