A woman who claims she was viciously attacked by two pit bulls on an East Alton roadway is suing the dogs' owners in Madison County Circuit Court.
Kristen Base is seeking in excess of $100,000 in damages from Sarah E. Reynolds and Shane A. Reese over an incident that took place Aug. 19 near the residence at 619 Playground Ct.
According to a complaint filed Sept. 26, the dogs, without provocation, bit Baze on her right leg, left hand, right forearm and chest, injuries which necessitated hospitalization.
Baze claims she suffered pain, loss of a normal life, disability, disfigurement and incurred medical bills.
