Teri Neighbors has filed a suit on behalf of Eldridge H. Tyberendt against University Nursing and Rehab Center, alleging an employee injured Tyberendt while transferring her to a wheelchair.
Represented by Robert H. Gregory of East Alton, Teri Neighbors claims Tybernedt sustained serious injury to her right arm while an employee of University Nursing and Rehab Center transferred her from her bed to a wheelchair on May 28, 2007.
"Eldridge Tyberendt sustained a complete fracture of her right elbow while being transferred from her bed to a wheelchair," the complaint states.
Teri Neighbors claims Tyberendt suffered a marked deterioration of her prior physical condition and had to pay large sums for medical expenses.

Teri Neighbors is seeking a judgment in excess of $50,000, plus the costs of the suit and any other relief the court deems just.
