The Full Moon Saloon in Caseyville and two of its customers are being sued by a man who claims he suffered severe injuries after being battered at the tavern last year.
Robert E. Lee is seeking in excess of $150,000 in damages from Ruben Vital, Alejandro Gonzalez and the tavern's owner SST Enterprises for an alleged battery that took place at 1050 South Main St.
He claims the tavern violated the Dram Shop Act.
"That while in said condition of intoxication and as a cause of said intoxication, on September 30, 2007, Ruben Vital and Alejandro Gonzalez attacked and battered the plaintiff...," the complaint states.
Lee also claims he incurred medical expenses, lost wages and suffered pain.
He is represented by David A. Nester of Nester & Constance in Belleville.
