National Bank at Edwardsville recently participated in the Kids Day America/International events held at Infinite Wellness Chiropractic, Ltd: A Creating Wellness Center in Edwardsville.
National Bank donated two bikes -- the girl's bike was won by Nova Saucier from Edwardsville and the boy's bike was won by Hunter Ford from Troy.
Developed by chiropractors across America more than 14 years ago, Kid's Day America/International, is an event dedicated to children's health, safety and environmental awareness held in more than 1,400 cities worldwide.
Infinite Wellness Chiropractic hosted its First Annual Kid's Day American on May 17 from in the office and the parking lot of its practice.
The event featured free spinal health screenings provided by Infinite Wellness Chiropractic.
The SIUE Police department provided fingerprinting for each child in attendance while the Edwardsville Fire Department was on hand with an ambulance for tours and a smoke house to give demonstrations on fire safety and home evacuation in case of a fire.
Kids also enjoyed Culvers frozen custard and fun in two inflatables, provided by '62 Sports Group, after the health screening.
Other local sponsors were: Philipps' Agency Farmer's Insurance, First Clover Leaf Bank, Brickman Orthodontics, TheBank of Edwardsville, Goshen Rotary, Mastroianni Orthodontics, West & Company, Scott Credit Union, Central Illinois Community Blood Center, Bully's, BiPod, First Community State Bank and Sear's Optical.
Donations were accepted and proceeds from the event helped to support our local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

"We are so pleased to have a small part in making this a fun day for the kids," he said.
National Bank was founded in Hillsboro, Ill. in 1869 and currently serves south central Illinois with nine banking locations.
The Edwardsville Banking Center, located at 1611 Troy Road, opened in May 1997.
