Carr joins Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. as professional development and inclusion director

ST. LOUIS – J. Danielle Carr has joined the law firm of Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. as director of professional development and inclusion.

In the newly created position, the first of its kind in the St. Louis legal industry, Carr will be responsible for all activities relating to attorney development and training.

She will also chair the firm's diversity committee and be responsible for creating inclusion practices.

"We are excited to have Danielle join us," said Jill Luft, a member of the firm's board of directors and current diversity committee chair.

"We believe her experience and expertise will help build the next generation of successful lawyers and leaders in our firm and continue to cultivate a diverse and inclusive workforce."

With 18 years of varied experience, Carr brings a unique perspective to the position.

Most recently, Carr was managing director at Major, Lindsey & Africa, the largest legal recruiting firm in the U.S. She has served as executive director of the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms, where she planned and implemented diversity programming for 44 of Chicago's largest law firms. She has also been an attorney in private practice.

Carr earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 1986 and a juris doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School in 1989.
