Burroughs, Hepler, Broom, MacDonald, Hebrank & True, LLP, one of the top litigation firms in the U.S. and one of the longest operating law firms in the St. Louis metropolitan area, announced Friday it has changed its name to "Hepler, Broom, MacDonald, Hebrank, True & Noce, LLP."
The new name, which takes effect immediately, is accompanied by a new corresponding logo and website, www.heplerbroom.com, reflecting the shorthand version of the new name, "Hepler Broom."
"Although we have altered our name, we remain committed to the tradition of practicing law with the highest standards for which this firm has become known during its century of operation," said Larry Hepler, managing partner.
"We are looking forward to introducing the new Hepler Broom to the St. Louis region," he said.
The change follows Hepler Broom's dramatic growth in the St. Louis area over the past several years, increasing its staff to nearly 200 professionals today and nearly 300 total employees.
As a result of the growth, the firm recently relocated to a new office in downtown St. Louis at 800 Market Street, in the Bank of America Plaza, and continues to recruit.
"The firm has dramatically evolved over the past few years and with the recent addition of a new partner, Jerry Noce, we felt this was the right time to re-evaluate the firm's name, logo, and overall brand," said Gordon Broom, managing partner.
"We believe the new name and logo better reflect the firm's image and its people while preserving the firm's history and tradition of providing the highest quality legal services," he said.
Tracing its roots to 1894, Hepler, Broom, MacDonald, Hebrank, True & Noce, LLP is one of the longest operating firms in the St. Louis metropolitan area. With offices in Edwardsville, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri, Hepler Broom has successfully represented clients in major state and federal court cases in a broad spectrum of industries, including tobacco and asbestos litigation, healthcare, pharmaceutical, chemical, insurance, education, and real estate.
In addition to being one of the top litigation firms in the U.S., the firm has attorneys who concentrate their practices in corporate, employment, tax, estate planning, and business law, including mergers and acquisitions.
