Montclaire Bowl and its owner Philip Kammann will be in Circuit Judge Andy Matoesian's courtroom June 28 for a case management conference regarding a dram shop suit filed April 3 by Nicholas Stack.
Stack claims a third defendant in the matter, Gary Sterr, assaulted him after drinking alcoholic beverages at the bowling alley on June 14, 2005. Sterr was intoxicated, Stack claims.
According to the complaint, Stack was suffered severe injury, including the loss of sight in one eye, a severe loss of hearing in one ear and other serious injuries.
The alleged assault took place in the area of 817 Lancashire Drive, in Edwardsville.
Stack claims that his injuries caused pain and suffering, loss of wages, disability and disfigurement and he has become liable for medical expenses.
Stack is represented by Joseph Brown of Lucco, Brown, Threlkeld, and Dawson of Edwardsville.
Sterr will be represented by Garrett Hoerner of Belleville. Kammann has not had an attorney enter an appearance yet.
