Peel's bankruptcy proceedings continued

Gary Peel's proceedings in bankruptcy court have stalled since Feb. 2, when bankruptcy Judge Gerald Fines cancelled a Feb. 3 trial that would have determined Deborah J. Peel's rights under their divorce contract.

Fines set a status hearing May 5 but did not reschedule the trial.

A motion by bankruptcy trustee Carla Randolph that would have forced Peel to turn over his Jeep and his watch came before Bankruptcy Judge James Coachys Feb. 17, but Coachys continued the hearing to April 21.

Peel has paid bankruptcy attorney Steven Stanton $34,173.08 through Feb. 23, according to disclosures that Stanton has provided to the court.
