Movie goer ensnared in loose wiring sues Skyview Drive-In

A St. Louis woman filed a personal injury suit against Skyview Drive-In, a popular Belleville outdoor movie theatre, claiming she fell after becoming entangled in loose wiring near a concession stand.

In the suit filed Nov. 10 in St. Clair County, Linda X. Mitchell claims she was walking to the concession stand on Aug. 20, 2002, when the accident occurred. She is seeking in excess of $50,000 in damages.

Mitchell claims she has lost the full use of her arm and elbow, lost wages, became liable for medical expenses and is permanently disabled and disfigured.

She is represented by Michael Doyel of the Edward Vancil Law Office in St. Louis.
