Lasich claims on June 19, 2003, she stepped in a hole 30 inches deep tearing a tendon in her right ankle while at the racetrack. Lasich is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.

Melzer claims Anderson Hospital fired him after he became temporarily and totally disabled when he jammed his left thumb while moving a patient onto a CAT scan machine on April 16, 2003. Melzer is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.
