To the Editor:
I read your fine publication for the first time this weekend, as it was sitting in my driveway Sunday morning.
After reading the paper, I then went to your website and was amazed at some of the things that you have written about.
I really had no idea our court system in this county is abused in such a way. After reading your new lawsuits I see that at least half are absurd.
We have turned into a people who sue for everything.
The letter to the editor from the lawyer in this edition proved my point. People who are not even hurt sue to make a fast dollar, and it is just not right.
Trial lawyers say they are looking out for the working man, but that is a farce. I am almost sure that most people in this county are not aware of the abuses that occur in our courthouse.
It is not all lawyers' fault. Judges need to be held accountable for decisions made as well. But reform is needed in a bad way here.
I want to thank you for introducing me to this publication, I am your newest fan.
