Pampered Pets in Alton Square Mall
Ovella Lange of Silex, Mo. filed suit in Madison County Circuit Court May 12 seeking damages from Godfrey residents Matthew and Jessica Buckingham claiming they defaulted on a $58,307.22 contract.
According to the suit, the Buckinghams purchased Pampered Pets in the Alton Square Mall from Lange on Dec. 31, 2004 with an agreement that the Buckinghams would pay $60,642.55 in 25 monthly payments of $2,500 on the first of each month.
Lange claims that the Buckinghams failed to make the March, April, and May payments and demands the balance due of $58,307.22.
Lange is represented by Katherine Smith of Burroughs, Hepler, Broom, MacDonald, Hebrank & True of Edwardsville. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Nicholas Byron.
