  • Stephens is seeking an amount in excess of $50,000 due to an Aug. 19 fire that destroyed property located at 20-29 Wood River Avenue and allegedly killed tenant Douglas Kibby. According to the complaint, USF Insurance denied coverage for non-payment.

  • Springman claims Pilger, of Bethalto, failed to decrease speed to avoid an accident. Pilger collided with Springman, who was stopped at Routes 140 & 111 in Bethalto, Springman claims, and is seeking at least $50,000 for his injuries.

    Samantha Boomershine v. Tara Clark

  • Boomershine claims she injured her lower back, neck, shoulders, and arms on Jan. 1 while driving her 1997 Dodge Dakota on Homer Adams Parkway in Alton. Clark, driving her 1996 Mercury Mystique, allegedly failed to reduce speed to avoid an accident, colliding with the rear-end of Boomershine's car, who is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.
