Paul D. Tow v. PSS World Medical

  • Tow claims he was fired Nov. 6, 2002 after receiving workers’ compensation benefits from an injury sustained Aug. 12, 2002. He is seeking at least $100,000 in damages plus punitive damages not less than $50,000, plus costs of the suit.

    Matthew Garner v. Laidlaw Transit

  • Garner claims Barbara Belcher was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Bus for Laidlaw on the morning of Nov 6, 2002 when she collided with his 97 Dodge Stratus at Washington & Judson in Alton. Garner is seeking damages not to exceed $75,000.

    Dan & Monique Denson v. Harold S. Burr

  • Dan Denson claims that while helping a couple repair a vehicle on the shoulder of I-270 on March 16, 2003, Burr collided with the vehicle he was repairing causing him serious injuries. He is seeking at least $50,000 in damages. Monique Denson is also seeking at least $50,000 in damages alleging she lost services, society, and companionship of her husband due to his injuries.

  • The plaintiffs allege that on April 13 at Route 111 & Horseshoe Lake Road, Main collided with the vehicle in which they were driving. The plaintiffs are seeking at least $50,000 each for injuries they allegedly received from the accident.

    Kyle James v. Ford Motor Company and Joshua A. Clark

  • James claims he sustained injuries on July 31 when the Ford F 150 truck he was riding in was involved in an accident with Joshua Clark, who was allegedly at fault. James claims the seatbelt opened and he was ejected from the truck. He is seeking at least $100,000 in damages in a two-count suit.

    Ruth Hubbard v. Jay R. Werner

  • Hubbard alleges that Werner, while driving his 1992 Ford Explorer, collided with her 1990 Lexus at Goshen and Troy Road in Edwardsville causing her serious injuries. Hubbard is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.

  • Lubbert claims that Maggio, a Glen Carbon resident, collided with him at 157 & Meridian in Edwardsville, causing him serious injuries. Lubbert is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.

  • Grace claims that on Dec. 2, 2002, Schofield collided with her vehicle on Route 3 on the Madison and Jersey County line, causing injuries. She is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.

  • Phillips claims he was hospitalized after an accident on U.S. 40 and Woodcrest in Highland where he alleges Schulte collided with him. He is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.

  • Gestes claims that on Sept. 21 at 2 a.m. she was riding on the back of Cook’s motorcycle when he accelerated to an extreme speed causing her to fall off the back of the motorcycle at 157 & Collinsville Road in Collinsville causing her extensive injuries. She is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.
