  • Wrongful Death Act: Sue Bailey of Missouri alleges that on April 4, 2003, Andrew Hoyle of Mapleton ran a stop sign colliding in a vehicle that she and her husband, William, were riding in, causing William's death. Bailey and co-plaintiff Betty Renfro are also seeking personal injury damages.

    Linda Hoffman v. Pioneer Laboratories

  • Product Liability: Linda Hoffman of Troy alleges that the Stay Fuse fixator implants used to help treat her hammer toes were defective. She is suing the manufacturer for product liabilty, warranty of merchantability, implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose and negligence. She is seeking $50,000 per count.

  • Dog Bite: Jeff Zarzecki claims that a German Shepard owned by Brett and Paula Green, who reside at 117 Taylor Lake Drive in Troy, bit his 8-year-old son, Lucas, on Sept. 15. He is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.

  • Negligence: Glenn alleges that on Nov. 24, 2002, Payne, an employee with Buske Line, failed to stop his 2000 Freightliner semi tractor trailer when he collided with her in Olive on I-55 northbound mile Post 33. She seeks $50,000 in damages.
