A Madison County couple is suing the driver of a car who rear-ended them while they were stopped for a school bus in Godfrey.
According to a lawsuit filed March 17 in Madison County Circuit Court, James and Kimberly Miller were stopped for the school bus on Godfrey Road in Godfrey when Natasha Campbell struck them from behind, failing to operate her vehicle "with a reasonable degree of care and caution."
The Millers seek damages in excess of $50,000, plus costs.
The plaintiffs are represented by Lanny Darr of Schrempf, Kelly, Napp and Darr of Alton.
