The executor of a local man's estate is suing the driver who caused an accident resulting in several injuries on March 4, 2013.
According to a lawsuit filed Feb. 25 in Madison County Circuit Court, Jay Tomerlin, administrator of the estate of Arthur Ford, is suing Howard Spraggs for an accident Spraggs allegedly caused at U.S. Highway 67, near West Third Street in Alton, failing to yield the right-of-way and control his vehicle.
Tomerlin is seeking damages in excess of $50,000, plus costs.
Tomerlin is represented by Michael P. Glisson of Williamson, Webster, Falb and Glisson of Alton.
